About the Position: Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments, as well as identification of environmental aspects and impacts. Develop and control applicable EHS documentation. Establish EHS system programs and objectives. Carry out occupational safety and health inspections and internal audits. Develop and implement the EHS training program. Participate in supplier selection related to the EHS system. Develop and monitor employee safety and environmental plans. Actively participate in EHS, health, and wellness prevention and promotion activities. Implement MASS programs based on customer requirements and current safety and environmental regulations to ensure operational processes are clean and safe. Implement emergency response team programs and drills to enable efficient personnel response during emergencies. Conduct audits across various work areas to identify unsafe acts and conditions and environmental impacts, and promptly correct them. Verify application of standards, rules, regulations, and procedures in operational and administrative areas to minimize accidents, incidents, and environmental impacts. Ensure implementation of recommendations arising from accident investigations and from the Safety and Hygiene Committee to prevent recurrence of accidents and environmental impacts caused by the same root cause. Promote activities fostering motivation, teamwork, and staff development within a work environment conducive to continuous improvement, productivity, and adherence to institutional values. Track corporate safety programs of the customer and Sandvik related to injury prevention, personnel harm reduction, and high-potential and critical-risk activities. Conduct incident investigations using methodologies (e.g., Ishikawa, What-if, 5W+1H, Decision Tree, ACR, ICAM, etc.). Develop risk and process mapping. Prepare/coordinate industrial hygiene studies per regulatory requirements. Your Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Medicine, or related field. 2 years’ experience in mining, metal-mechanical, or manufacturing industries. Experience participating in certification and recertification processes for international standards. Knowledge of and ability to apply local, state, and federal EHS regulations in Mexico. Development and implementation of work instructions, procedures, regulations, policies, etc. Design, development, and delivery of training courses. Basic level of English proficiency.
