Newmont Peñasquito is an operation where employees reside in camp and are then returned to their home location for rest, located approximately 780 km northwest of Mexico City. Join us and discover your potential at a global company leading the way in shaping the future of the mining industry. ##### **Purpose** Supervise loading and hauling activities to safely achieve production targets and maintain operational efficiency. ##### **Responsibilities** Supervise and execute daily surface loading and hauling operations to ensure efficiency and safety. Collaborate with the loading and hauling team to ensure optimal use of equipment and resources to meet production targets. Ensure all loading and hauling activities comply with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, promptly address any non-conformances or concerns, and implement corrective actions. Explain the purpose of the team’s work and how it adds value to the business. Encourage team members to identify critical issues that may impact work. Listen when issues or concerns are raised. ##### **Requirements** Assign work to team members according to the plan established by the manager. Review team members’ performance in carrying out their tasks. Recognize team members for work well done. Actively contribute to establishing and maintaining a positive and productive team-based work environment. Complete specific procedural tasks. Follow prescribed steps in procedures to complete work. Apply practical judgment to resolve problems or request support when needed. Identify alternatives through trial and error. Improve work methods using daily experience, procedures, observation of event patterns, and trial-and-error. Schedule and provide resources—including personnel, equipment, and materials—to support loading and hauling operations and maximize productivity. Develop and execute plans to ensure timely and efficient transport of ore and waste material. Monitor loading and hauling operations performance through data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare and present periodic operational performance reports—including productivity metrics, equipment utilization, and safety standards compliance—to senior leaders. Be responsible for assessing relevant risks, implementing mitigation measures, and continuously monitoring such risks. Valid Driver’s License. ##### **Experience** Essential experience in a mining environment, with a minimum of 2–3 years in a loading and hauling supervision role at open-pit (open-cut) mines. ##### **Professional Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
