Net & Sec Pre-Sales Engineer (Networking & Security) POSITION OBJECTIVE Support the pre-sales process by designing, analyzing, and presenting network and security solutions aligned with the customer’s technical and business needs. The Net & Sec pre-sales consultant acts as a liaison between the sales team and the technical team, ensuring proposals are viable, competitive, and aligned with the organization’s technological and strategic standards. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts technical and commercial assessments of customer requirements through understanding of our portfolio’s solutions and products. Analyze customers’ technical and operational requirements. Design network and security architectures aligned with project requirements. Provide technical support to the sales team during the pre-sales process. Develop technical proposals, diagrams, scopes, and sizing documentation. Participate in technical presentations, requirement-gathering sessions, and demonstrations. Collaborate with manufacturers and technology partners. Ensure proposed solutions comply with best practices, standards, and security regulations. Support the transition from pre-sales to implementation (handover). REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Information Technologies, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field. Experience: 3–5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, implementation, or support for networks and/or security. Experience collaborating with sales and technical teams. Technical Knowledge: Networking: Routing & Switching, LAN / WAN / WLAN; Firewalls, VPN, VLANs. Security: Perimeter security, Access control, Cybersecurity best practices. Knowledge of manufacturers such as: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, Meraki, Sophos (as applicable). Ability to develop: Technical diagrams, proposals, and solution documentation. Technical English (reading and comprehension).
