What you'll be doing:* Validate production processes (5S, one-piece flow, personnel certification, etc.) * Inspect significant characteristics and record measurements * Verify incoming material quality and coordinate containment activities * Participate in audits (NCR, VDA, BIQS, PPAP, inventories) * Support defect analysis and decision-making regarding product acceptance/rejection * Create inspection and measurement instructions * Conduct MSA studies and SPC analysis * Remove damaged or out-of-calibration equipment from the line * Coordinate corrective actions arising from complaints or audits * Support line release and special projects What we're looking for:* Technical high school diploma or incomplete college degree * 2 years of experience in quality, line release, or manufacturing processes * Basic knowledge of English * Ability to read diagrams and technical drawings * Basic-to-intermediate Excel skills * Knowledge of basic quality and statistical tools * Teamwork ability and good communication skills * Availability to act as backup for the quality engineer Bonus points if you have:* Experience with measurement equipment * Prior experience in audits and handling non-conforming materials * Certifications in quality or manufacturing processes How to apply: Apply online at www.johnsonelectric.com – We're excited to meet you!*Come join our global, inclusive \& diverse team* Our purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems.
