




Join Our Team as a Process Engineering Assistant at Johnson Electric Location: Zacatecas, Mexico (on-site) Your Mission, If You Choose to Accept It: As our next Process Engineering Assistant, you will provide technical support to the Process Engineer in validation activities, measurements, defect analysis, data documentation, and tracking process improvements. Your experience in manufacturing and process control will be essential to optimize operations, ensure quality, and support new project launches. What You Will Do:* Provide support during machinery and equipment buy\-off for new project launches * Validate machine settings after maintenance (when applicable) * Generate daily reports of results and analysis * Participate in the validation of manufacturing process improvements * Support improvement plans following the PDCA cycle and WJPS documentation * Create and update documents meeting QMS requirements (White Book, PFMEA, WI, ISO 14001\) * Support root cause analysis for process and product issues * Document and analyze metrics such as efficiency, PPM’s, defects, failures, and scrap vs production * Support line balancing and design/modification of processes for quality, safety, and environmental compliance * Validate model changes in production with appropriate documentation * Comply with QMS, EMS, CSR programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements * Execute corrective actions arising from customer complaints, audits, or other findings * Ensure support during installation, commissioning, and testing of machinery * Identify all types of electrical failures in equipment * Ensure elimination of any electrical failures in equipment * Know and be able to diagnose key release points * Report when spare parts are not registered in inventory or stock is at minimum or zero * Interpret industrial drawings, equipment manuals, and electrical diagrams * Understand Environmental Aspects of the work area, as well as mechanisms established by the EMS to minimize environmental impacts, such as proper resource usage, waste segregation, etc. * Knowledge and operation of KUKA/EPSON brand robots What We Are Looking For:* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field * 1 year of experience in manufacturing processes (desirable) * Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams * Knowledge of PLC and Lab View * Experience working with voltages: 220V, 380V and/or 440 V * Experience with Scara robots (desirable) * Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Basic metrology * Problem-solving methodology * Organization and neatness * Basic English Bonus Points If You Have:* Experience implementing process improvements * Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 standards * Prior participation in internal audits How to Apply: Apply online at www.johnsonelectric.com – We look forward to meeting you!*Come join our global, inclusive \& diverse team* Our purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems.
