Join us and discover your potential at a global company that is leading the way in shaping the future of the mining industry. ##### **Purpose** Provide geotechnical expertise to ensure ground stability and support safe TSF operations. ##### **Key Work Activities** * Support the preparation, maintenance, and execution of strategic plans to enhance the operation’s TSF stability program and suitable construction operation. * Deliver, execute, and assess TSF design parameters for current and future facilities on the TSF. * Supervise geotechnical and hydrological instrumentation monitoring, data collection activities, structural mapping, pit dewatering rate and core logging. * Execute geotechnical drilling, mapping and laboratory tests to anticipate any changes which may affect the geotechnical features of the mining area. * Supervise the continuous monitoring of pit walls through visual inspections and instrumentation to for warn any potential instabilities. * Supervise regular geotechnical inspections of active and inactive areas in the mine. * Report accurate, timely and relevant geotechnical and Hydrological information to the Mine Operations supervisors and team members, planners and site management. * Mine Geotechnology, Responsible for assessing relevant risks, executing mitigation measures, and continuously monitoring for risks. ##### **Knowledge** * Bachelors’ Degree in Geology / Geological Engineering / Earth Science/Civil Engineering or related fields. * Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering, hydrology, and mine design. Demonstrated experience in geotechnical instrumentation, geotechnical monitoring and data analysis, slope stability, and risk mitigation. * Solid understanding of practical Mine operations. * Demonstrated understanding risk management and business improvement principles and practices. * Demonstrated understanding of project and/or contract management. * High level of communication skills. ##### **Technical Skills** * Advanced proficiency in geotechnical engineering, slope stability, TSF design, and hydrological instrumentation. * Competent in geotechnical monitoring, geotechnical and hydrological tools, data collection, and risk mitigation relevant to mining method. * Competent in risk management and business improvement principles and practices. * Foundational proficiency with project and/or contract management. Position is 100% on-site and field-based. Supervise the repair of damaged units according to the standards set by the Company, ensuring timely delivery with proper quality. Additionally, follow up on any customer concerns regarding their unit's repair, aiming to resolve inquiries and meet quality standards. Internally, this position primarily interacts with the Valuation, Parts Quotation, and Call Center departments. Externally, this position interacts with service providers handling repairs such as workshops, agencies, and special accounts executives. This position also interacts externally with our insured clients, brokers, or agents. The scope of this role is local. **1\.** Analyze repairs through reports and prior classification of incidents to coordinate timely completion and delivery. **2\.** Control and coordinate the assigned portfolio of suppliers to strengthen relationships and achieve optimal results for each damaged unit. **3\.** Follow up on claims through direct customer contact via various channels such as phone calls, in-person meetings, or email, with the aim of recording potential questions, complaints, and negotiating deadlines approaching expiration. 4\. Manage meetings and visits to workshops to negotiate possible issues and supervise repairs as much as feasible. 5\.
