Together, we can transform the future of healthcare and leave a positive impact on the world! **Employment Type** Trust-based **Job Objective** Ensure pharmaceutical products meet required microbiological quality standards for approval and commercialization by delivering precise microbiological analysis results—using aseptic techniques, analytical instruments, and/or handling of live microorganisms—while maintaining sample integrity, adherence to analysis timelines, and strict compliance with procedures. **Responsibilities and Activities** * Perform activities associated with the Quality System under a Safety and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) compliance code. * Conduct and report specialized microbiological analyses—including sterility testing (official and rapid methods), endotoxin testing, preservative efficacy testing, and antibiotic assay—for raw materials, intermediates, finished products, validation studies, stability studies, analytical transfers, special analyses, and critical systems—to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications. * Perform analytical activities applying laboratory safety standards. * Conduct and report microbiological analyses of laboratory supplies required for analytical testing, ensuring quality standards for approval and use, as well as maintaining them under appropriate conditions for use. * Perform microbial identification and culture collection maintenance. Experience * Microbiological analysis: 1 year * Use of basic laboratory equipment: balance, incubator, pH meter: 1 year * Entry into classified areas: 1 year * Environmental microbiological sampling: 1 year Knowledge * Basic concepts of trend analysis. * Microbiology of critical systems. * Environmental microbiological monitoring and microbial limits. * Use of basic root cause analysis tools. * Preparation of culture media, solutions, and sanitizers. * ERP system usage (SAP preferred). * Pharmacopoeias (FEUM, USP, BP, EP). * Applicable regulations (NOM-059-). Education Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry or related Chemical-Pharmaceutical or Chemical-Biological fields. **Additional Profile Requirements** Availability for shift work.
