




"Involves handling packages within the operation, including manual handling, sorting, selection, and loading, as well as completing any related administrative tasks or paperwork. The position level within the job family impacts responsibilities; thus, Associate-level employees may complete certain tasks under guidance and are typically responsible for less complex tasks. Leadership or Senior-level employees in these positions may: * Handle escalated or more complex issues, * Coordinate team activities or those of contracted staff, * Support supervisor or manager activities, * Support the design, review, and implementation of processes and procedures." Job Summary: Performs the following activities under general supervision: * Safely loads and unloads aircraft and company vehicles. * Conducts package and box size and weight inspections; sorts packages. * Ensures use of safety equipment and full compliance with FedEx safety policies, procedures, standards, rules, and practices. * Receives and sorts air and ground freight shipments. * Ensures FedEx and customer property security. * Cleans, washes, and performs minor maintenance on company vehicles. * Operates company vehicles safely and securely. * Collects and delivers packages on a limited and emergency basis, as required. Minimum Requirements: Minimum Education Level: * Completed high school or equivalent. * Valid driver’s license and good driving record. * Basic English preferred. Minimum Experience: * Experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment preferred. Minimum Required Skills: * Ability to lift 34 kg and maneuver any individual package weighing up to 68 kg using appropriate equipment. * Availability to work variable shifts. * General vehicle maintenance experience and familiarity with hand and power tools preferred. * Must successfully complete the Reading, Map Reading, Sorting, and Mathematics sections of the Basic Skills Test. * Accuracy and attention to detail. * Planning and organizational skills. * Problem-solving skills. * Teamwork skills.
