Training: Instruction in good manufacturing practices and hygiene **JOB OBJECTIVE** Ensure processed avocados comply with safety, sanitary, and quality standards required by customers and national and international regulatory bodies, optimizing selection and packaging processes to minimize losses. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Raw Material Inspection: Supervise fruit receipt, verifying maturity indices, dry matter content (critical for avocados), sizing, and absence of pests or physical damage. * Certification Management: Maintain and audit compliance with organic regulations and certifications. * Process Control: Monitor production lines to ensure proper stain removal, brushing, weighing, and labeling. * Finished Product Release: Inspect shipping-ready cartons to guarantee impeccable color, firmness, and aesthetic presentation. * Cold Chain Monitoring: Supervise pre-cooling and storage chamber temperatures, as well as proper container loading. * Rejection Management: Analyze causes of rejected fruit and propose action plans to reduce waste. * Training: Train operational staff in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene.
