Warehouse Supervisor The Warehouse Supervisor ensures proper warehouse operation by supervising and controlling material receiving, storage, handling, and dispatch processes—guaranteeing inventory integrity, personnel safety, proper equipment functionality, and effective coordination with involved departments—all in compliance with established procedures and plant operational objectives. **Role Responsibilities** * Enforce operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, material handling and disposition, and maintaining up-to-date warehouse inventory records. * Inspect the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment. * Coordinate equipment repairs with external vendors and/or forklift mechanics. * Report high-cost repairs to the department manager. * Collaborate with production supervisors to ensure proper coordination between warehouse activities and other functions such as production, sales, record control, and procurement. * Escalate high-level or high-impact issues to management. * Direct recovery of damaged or used materials. * Conduct month-end inventory closings and cyclic counts to ensure physical inventories reconcile with accounting records. * Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe. * Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities. * *This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all activities, duties, or responsibilities required.
