Job Summary: Responsible for providing data to the project team to support tooling and process qualification, ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of the dimensional qualification process. Key Responsibilities: 1. Leads dimensional qualification activities and statistical analysis. 2. Collaborates in the development of measurement strategies and metrology processes. 3. Promotes teamwork and conflict resolution. **Your Role** Responsible for providing data to key members of the project team to support qualification of tools and assembly processes. Owner of the following PDP deliverables: measurement plans, delivery of measurement strategies, responsible for disposition for tool transfers and NPI at the Guad Sur plant. Provides significant support for qualification plans and PPAP package. May receive guidance from more senior department members for critical programs. * Participates in and drives the development of measurement strategies, metrology processes, etc. Leads disposition and review of measurement data, defines measurement strategy, and collaborates with project management to hold teams accountable for decisions regarding tooling, product, or drawing modifications. * Conducts statistical analysis for qualification, control, and continuous improvement of processes, products, and equipment. Ensures metrological/statistical data is understood by the Product Development team so it can be used to make appropriate decisions or actions, or to seek guidance from more senior department members as needed. * Uses interpersonal skills to reach consensus with team members when conflicts arise and works to maintain team cohesion through difficult decisions. Seeks help from resources in other departments as necessary to resolve issues. Emotional intelligence is essential for this role. **Who You Are** * Experience in the automotive industry or related quality field, or equivalent education and training. * Molding and assembly processes. * Advanced English. * Strong organizational skills to anticipate, plan, organize, and self-supervise workload. This role is NOT task-based; the function is to train and support Product Development needs. * Good organizational and interpersonal skills. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Strong problem-solving skills and use of techniques (5-Why, IS/IS-NOT, Fishbone diagram, etc.). * Practical knowledge of spreadsheets and other Windows-based software. * Basic statistical knowledge. * Solid understanding of fundamental dimensional control principles (data coordination, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), etc.). * Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. **What Will Set You Apart** * Training or experience in high-speed automated manufacturing. * Certification and audit standards. * SAP and quality software (Minitab, etc.). **Who We Are** As a Koch company, Molex is a leading provider of connectors and interconnection components that drive innovation in electronics and support industries ranging from automotive to healthcare, consumer electronics, and data transmission.
