Opportunity for leadership in occupational safety and hygiene **Job Title:** On-Site Operational Physicians **General Job Objective:** Identify and assess occupational risks to prevent occupational illnesses and injuries or accidents related to work activities. Monitor employee health, especially those exposed to specific working conditions or occupational hazards. **Address:** Francisco Montejano Palacios 25 La Venta del Astillero, 45221 Zapopan, Jal. **Job Responsibilities:** * Provide initial in-person consultations to employees and/or remote medical advice * Administer first aid in medical emergencies and/or urgent situations * Train and/or certify the first-aid brigade * Prepare occupational medical histories * Prepare medical notes according to consultations * Prepare occupational medical records in compliance with NOM-004-SSA3-2012 * Advise on and/or complete IMSS ST forms * Conduct medical evaluations for new hires, periodic check-ups, and safe return-to-work assessments for company personnel * Maintain control and inventory of medication inflows and outflows within the clinic * Propose and implement health promotion campaigns and prevention programs for occupational and/or chronic-degenerative diseases * Conduct periodic inspections and controls of first-aid kits and medical supplies * Submit weekly, monthly, semiannual health indicators and the Annual Health Diagnosis * Perform medical evaluations for high-risk jobs * Deliver talks and/or workshops on topics of interest to employees * Coordinate with the Safety and Hygiene Committee to support matters related to health risks * Develop procedural manuals and emergency/urgent care manuals for the company * Conduct workplace walkthroughs to detect hazards * Refer cases requiring specialized or subspecialized care **Required Competencies:** * Bachelor's Degree in General Medicine (degree and license) * Diploma and/or Master's in Occupational Medicine (preferred) * Experience in corporate medical clinics (1 year preferred) * Experience in emergency care (preferred: ACLS-BLS certified) * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite * Teamwork * Innovation and creativity * Self-management * Leadership * Responsibility * Commitment * Flexibility and adaptability **Work Schedules:** * **Morning Shift Physician:** Monday to Saturday, 06:00–14:00 hours * **Afternoon Shift Physician:** Monday to Saturday, 14:00–22:00 hours **Salary:** * $19,000.00 Gross Monthly / $16,094.00 Net Monthly Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term contract Salary: $19,000.00 per month Benefits: * Educational support * Option for indefinite-term contract * Complimentary uniforms Work Location: On-site employment
