




Position Summary: Ensure the integrity of berries and facilities through training and supervision of food safety, organic, and social compliance systems. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure product and operational integrity through food safety. 2. Contribute to the implementation of social compliance programs. 3. Conduct sampling and risk assessments to support decision-making. **About the Opportunity** ========================= Contribute to ensuring the integrity of our growers’ berries and Driscoll’s facilities by training, supervising, and implementing food safety and organic systems, as well as supporting the implementation of social compliance programs.**Responsibilities** ==================== Monitoring of Food Safety Management System, Organic Scheme, and Social Compliance * Provide technical assistance and support on food safety and certification matters. * Train and supervise proper use and handling of agrochemicals, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and food safety systems in the fields. * Address matters related to food safety. Sampling * Pre-harvest, random, and export pesticide sampling. * Water source sampling to meet microbiological parameter requirements. * Decision-making based on sampling results. Risk Assessments * Conduct land risk assessments. * Conduct water source risk assessments. * Monitor ranch release requirements. * Investigate process deviations. Grower Verification Visits * Conduct field inspection visits to verify grower compliance with food safety, organic scheme, and social compliance programs. * Prepare and submit reports. Local Monitoring and Support * Attend weekly meetings and provide support during district meetings. * Plan and coordinate activities. * Report critical situations. **Candidate Profile** ===================== Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Food Science, Chemical\-Biological Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Agronomy, or related field. * Experience in similar positions: 2\-3 years * Knowledge: Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), basic food microbiology and chemistry, proper use of agrochemicals, certifications, social compliance, organic program * Intermediate English * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Conflict resolution and negotiation skills * Valid driver’s license
