Job Summary: We are seeking a Safety and Hygiene Supervisor to conduct surveillance, inspection, and coordination of safety systems in hydraulic construction projects, ensuring occupational and environmental protection. Key Responsibilities: 1. Safety and hygiene surveillance and inspection in hydraulic construction projects. 2. Supervision and correction of occupational safety signage. 3. Prevention of subsurface contamination in the area of influence. MAV INGENIERIA INTEGRAL Seeks a Safety and Hygiene Supervisor REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Engineering (or related fields) Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Personnel management experience Knowledge of safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE PERFORMED Surveillance, inspection, coordination, development, or control of safety and hygiene systems in water conveyance projects using closed conduits or similar hydraulic works Verify and supervise services related to continuous safety and hygiene monitoring on site Identify and propose locations for fire extinguishers, hoses, signs, barriers, warning tapes, safety nets, and other safety equipment at construction sites and various work fronts—including pedestrian crossings, parking areas, access roads, dumping zones, and construction zones Inspect and report on the presence and condition of required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices to ensure workers perform their duties with minimal risk Develop diagrams and recommendations for work programs and worker passage routes—particularly those involving material and/or equipment transport—to define safe pathways, corridor evacuation plans, emergency exit routes, etc. Supervise and direct corrective actions regarding preventive signage on site, ensuring at all times that the site is adequately protected to guarantee worker safety and prevent accidents involving unauthorized persons Monitor and prevent any potential risk of subsurface contamination within the project’s area of influence. -Requirements- Minimum Education: Higher Education – Bachelor’s Degree 1 year of experience Age: between 25 and 45 years Skills: Decision-making, Environmental knowledge, Microsoft Office, Safety, Personnel supervision Keywords: resident, supervisor, manager, assistant manager, responsible person, coordinator, manager, captain, escort, guard, watchman, security guard, surveillance, cleaning, hygiene, cleaning, limpieza
