The teacher's mission is to provide students with high-quality academic education, fostering the development of knowledge, skills, and character strengths essential for their lives and careers. They must design, plan, and implement teaching actions in accordance with the SER Academic Model. They are responsible for maintaining a culture of high academic rigor and values that cultivate students' character strengths needed to face life's challenges. They must deliver quality education through continuous improvement based on data, aiming for outstanding academic outcomes. Work Location: Av. Valle Dorado No. 90, Fracc. Las Luces, C.P. 45654, Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco. Essential Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Education Sciences, Basic Education, Educational Innovation and Pedagogy, Intercultural Primary Education, Primary Education, Indigenous Primary Education, Bachelor’s degree in Teacher Training for Basic Education: Historical and Cultural Heritage of Mexico, Bachelor’s degree in Bilingual (Mayan\-Spanish) Teacher Training for Basic Education: Historical Heritage, Educational Intervention, or Pedagogy. * Professional degree certificate * Minimum 2 years of experience as an elementary school teacher. * Basic English proficiency. Skills: * Planning and organization * Openness to feedback * Passion * Commitment to service Job Responsibilities: *Design, plan, and implement teaching actions* * Use academically designed classroom instruction tools, both for classroom management and instructional rigor. * Design integrative learning experiences in the classroom, ensuring learning for every single student. * Teach and uphold the SER schools’ school culture by intentionally implementing necessary routines and systems. * Ensure high academic rigor across all subjects through effective internalization. * Administer assessments punctually according to the network’s established guidelines. * Actively participate in all trainings designed by the SER Academic Team and sustain learning by directly applying it in their school. * Adhere to the work schedules and deadlines set forth in the academic calendar. *Maintain a culture of high academic rigor and values* * Maintain and promote healthy interpersonal relationships with students, the academic team, and the entire educational community. * Follow up with families and students regarding compliance with the Commitment to Excellence. Convene and participate in parent-teacher interviews to strengthen school strategies for students and families (at least two interviews per academic cycle). * Participate in one-on-one meetings with their school leader (or instructional coach in the case of elementary school) aimed at improving teaching skills through implementation of various SER strategies. *Academic Outcomes* * Attend weekly data meetings with their school leader (or instructional coach in the case of elementary school) to conduct in-depth analysis of student progress, identify gaps, and close them. * Attend feedback meetings with their school leader to maintain best practices and improve teaching strategies as guided by their leader. * Honestly record and monitor students’ academic outcomes. * Plan strategies to support students facing academic difficulties and raise learning outcomes. * Create and implement their block action plan based on data obtained from assessments. *All our recruitment processes are impartial.
