Drive continuous improvement and operational team development. **Position Profile: Operations Director** **Position Title:** **Functional Operations Director** **Department:** Operations Management **Reports To:** Deputy Director **Direct Reports:** * CEDIS Operations Manager (3 industrial warehouses) * Production Manager (2 plants) * Branch Operations Manager (approx. 20 sales points) **Position Objective** Ensure operational efficiency and service level compliance across the company’s entire operational chain by strategically coordinating logistics, production, and branch operations processes—guaranteeing achievement of key KPIs, cost control, resource optimization, and alignment with the organization’s business objectives. **Main Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and oversee operational strategies for production, logistics, and branch operations. * Coordinate with functional areas (sales, procurement, finance) to ensure alignment among supply, demand, and operational capacity. * Ensure proper execution of processes in Odoo (ERP), promoting efficient system usage. * Evaluate and ensure performance of managers reporting to this role through metrics and compliance indicators. * Supervise the operational budget and ensure efficient use of resources. * Implement continuous improvement, logistics efficiency, and service level optimization strategies. * Maintain consistent presence both at plants and branches (50/50\), ensuring visibility, control, and proximity to the operational team. * Develop operational team capabilities, ensuring leadership and succession planning at key levels. * Monitor indicators such as: order fulfillment rate, delivery lead times, inventory turnover, scrap rate, factory productivity, and store operating margin. **Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Order fulfillment rate (%) * Inventory availability (fill rate) per store and per CEDIS * Production target achievement (volume, timelines) * Average gross margin per branch (%) * Logistics and operational cost vs. budget (%) * Productivity indicators per plant and per branch * Service level (delivery times, complete orders) * % of implemented continuous improvement initiatives vs. annual plan * Executed budget vs. authorized budget (%) * Inventory accuracy **Profile Requirements** **Education:** Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
