Summary: The Product Engineer serves as the primary customer contact for new product launch (NPL) activities. Responsible for all manufacturing, materials, and tooling processes to ensure products are assembled according to customer expectations. Responsibilities: * Leads manufacturing activities for assigned products during prototype, pilot, and production phases. * Oversees the implementation of customer documentation changes and internal change orders. * Actively participates in developing new customers and securing new business. * Analyzes line return data to understand and promote corrective actions in manufacturing processes. * Conducts product-level FMEAs as required. * Participates in continuous improvement activities such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. * Reviews engineering design drawings and DFX reports prior to production release to ensure manufacturability. * Participates in the evaluation and qualification of new manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment. Leads internal and external corrective action plans. * Complies with and follows all company policies and procedures. * Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
