




**Your Job** The Assembly Quality Engineer will be responsible for providing data support to the Guadalajara management team and facilitating customer quality-related issues. With presence in more than 40 countries, Molex offers a full range of products, services, and connectivity solutions for the data communications, medical, industrial, automotive, and consumer electronics industries. **What You Will Do** * Maintain a safe work environment and good cleaning practices (5S) * Lead efforts to improve quality performance metrics (QN, scrap, non-conforming material, and grading). Organize and supervise the tabulation of summary information for management and customer reports. Helps support and drive the zero-defect mindset across the department * Respond to customer issues by implementing appropriate containment actions and / or corrective actions. Interact directly with customers in a timely and professional manner. * Provide guidance in the development and analysis of inspection requirements, measurement criteria, SAP requirements, techniques and methodologies of product processing. * Plan, execute, analyze and report on evaluations of product/process changes, as well as production issues using appropriate statistical tools * Work with engineers, design engineers and manufacturing engineers from AQP on the qualification, PPAP and safe release of new and existing products. Participate in and support the APQP process and process development planning * Ensure that FMEA, control plan and process flow documentation are effectively implemented in production and that requirements are reviewed periodically for all processes. Development of inspection routines for process and final audits * Understand, support and contribute to Molex's current quality and environmental systems by following established policies and procedures, including compliance with quality management systems, IATF 16949 and specific customer requirements. Contribute as a member of the internal audit team **Who You Are** * Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality or management field. * Advanced degree or certification * Experience in automotive manufacturing or quality-related field, or equivalent education and training. * Molding and assembly process • * Knowledge in IATF 16949 * Statistical and quality tools. Application of SPC, Gage R\&R, design of experiments. Practical knowledge and real experience in the application of quality problem-solving tools: RC/CA, 5 Whys Analysis, Cause and Effect Analysis, 8D troubleshooting (RedX). * Fluency in English * Availability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
