Description
**Job Objective:**
Assess and intervene in sensory processing, modulation, and integration difficulties experienced by neurodivergent children and adolescents (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder), with the aim of supporting self-regulation, praxis, learning, and active participation in daily life.
**Key Responsibilities**
* **Sensory Profile Assessment:** Administer standardized assessments and clinical observations to understand how the individual processes environmental stimuli.
* **Sensory Diet Design:** Develop customized sensory stimulation and support plans for home and school settings.
* **Co\-regulation and Environment:** Guide the individual in recognizing their own states of arousal and provide tools necessary for emotional and behavioral self-regulation.
* **Family Consultation:** Train parents to understand their children’s sensory-based behaviors, transforming the family environment into a safe and accessible space.
**Required Profile**
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (mandatory), with verifiable certification or advanced training in **Sensory Integration**.
* **Approach:** Absolute respect for neurodiversity, prioritizing emotional safety, connection, and the child’s regulation over task compliance.
* **Skills:** Excellent management of a sensory integration therapy room, dynamism, strong clinical observation skills, and empathy.
Salary: $6,970\.00 \- $10,000\.00 per month
