**Plastonium is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager in Col. Del Gas – Azcapotzalco, Mexico City** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At Plastonium, a leading company in the plastics industry located in Col. Del Gas, Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, we are looking for talent to strengthen our manufacturing and operations team. ### **Responsibilities:** Design, lead, and ensure execution of the corporate Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement strategy, aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste, optimizing operational costs, and ensuring process standardization across all plants or sites within the group. 1\. Lean and Continuous Improvement Strategy * Define the corporate Lean Manufacturing roadmap. * Develop an in-house production system based on Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma. * Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and improvement targets per plant and per process. 2\. Implementation of Lean Tools * Lead implementation—aligned with a short- and medium-term strategic plan—for tools such as: + VSM (Value Stream Mapping) + 5S and standardization (SOPs, OPLs) + Kaizen and rapid improvement events + SMED for reduction of changeover times (critically important in thermoset molding) + Poka-yoke, error control, and built-in quality + TPM to increase availability of presses, molds, and peripheral equipment + Kanban and Pull flow for materials and molds 3\.
