**JOB OBJECTIVE** Execute and monitor the implementation of safety, occupational health, and environmental activities at the Cuautla and Lerma plants through inspections, document control, training, operational monitoring, and compliance with applicable regulations. **Responsibilities** ● Adopt implemented measures to prevent occupational illnesses and/or accidents. ● Conduct safety studies and assessments; including noise, lighting, identification and evaluation of hazardous chemicals, confined spaces, work at height, Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), among others. ● Design, implement, and monitor occupational risk prevention programs based on job-specific risk matrices, risk analyses, and emergency response plans. ● Coordinate the formation, organization, and updating of emergency response teams (evacuation, first aid, fire suppression, search and rescue, spill response, etc.) and ensure their optimal performance. ● Assign and inspect personal protective equipment (PPE) for each job position appropriately and ensure its correct use by all employees. ● Conduct SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) walkthroughs, report identified findings, and follow up on action plans. ● Coordinate the Safety and Hygiene Committee (CSH), ensuring mandatory walkthroughs and tracking of preventive and corrective actions. ● Plan drills, evaluating response times, protocol adherence, and areas for improvement. ● Inspect emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers, emergency lights, detectors, signage, etc. ● Implement, monitor, and document activities of the Self-Management Program for Safety and Occupational Health (PASST) through inspections, risk analysis, and monitoring of applicable regulatory compliance. ● Support the management and compliance of the Self-Management Program for Safety and Occupational Health (PASST) by conducting inspections, updating documentation, tracking corrective actions, and monitoring safety and environmental requirements. ● Ensure uniform delivery to employees. ● Deliver induction training to new employees and suppliers. ● Ensure external personnel possess appropriate documentation and PPE to enter the plant. ● Monitor the pest control service operationally, including accompanying the supplier, verifying evidence, maintaining document control, and reporting findings to maintain plant sanitary conditions. ● Assist in coordinating and reporting final disposal of hazardous waste, municipal solid waste, and special handling waste. ● Verify compliance with legal requirements for plant processes. ● Implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence of occupational accidents/incidents. ● Analyze and report safety indicators (incidents, accidents, first aid cases) and environmental indicators (hazardous waste generation). ● Record, monitor, and keep incident and accident data up to date, supporting investigations to identify root causes and propose corrective measures to prevent recurrence. ● Analyze and report safety and environmental performance indicators. ● Participate in defining and implementing strategies to meet the requirements of the Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 and promote continuous improvement. **Education**: Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field **Years of experience in the area or position**: Minimum 1 year in a similar role. **Desired specific knowledge**: Legislation regarding safety, occupational health, and environment.
