Job Summary: Supervises and verifies the printing process to ensure product quality and compliance with customer specifications, performing sampling and inspections. Key Highlights: 1. Verification and quality control in the printing process. 2. Constant monitoring and corrective actions during production. 3. Teamwork and leadership in process supervision. Responsibilities: Performs accounting and reconciliation of materials for each batch upon entry into the press. Verifies, according to the production order requirements, that inks, varnishes, and pre-identified printing plates are ready. Verifies substrate gauge, dimensions, and type against the work order and customer specifications (using a micrometer). Manually checks adjustments for each production run and approves the process. Monitors the printing process; if non-conforming products are found, alerts the printer to implement the appropriate corrective action. Verifies dimensions of unvarnished windows per customer specifications, where applicable. Verifies print registration against the die-cut positive and records approval for print startup on the work order. Conducts random sampling during the printing and varnishing processes and supervises recording on the work order. Issues inspection reports on material condition; verifies that once a pallet is assembled, the corresponding color-coded traffic light indicator and color-coded labels for subsequent processes are placed. If the order cannot be fully completed, verifies material replenishment and follows up appropriately to meet the specified requirement. Tracks specific requirements and authorizes production closure on the work order (approvals).
