Job Description The Teller is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the execution of branch activities, including daily service delivery involving customer interaction and transaction processing, in coordination with the Customer Service function. The overall objective is to deliver high-quality customer service and support the branch in generating revenue by offering optimal solutions. Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for Citi customers and provide a positive first impression through effective and friendly customer service. Carry out efficient and accurate banking transactions, including handling branch cash, processing incoming/outgoing cash deposits, and maintaining the branch vault cash. Identify cross-selling opportunities for new products and services based on customers’ financial goals. Educate customers about digital and self-service options offered by Citi. Comply with bank policies, operational controls, and regulatory procedures to ensure customer and bank asset security. Ensure all customer needs are met and customer issues/matters are managed effectively; escalate issues to higher levels when necessary. Maintain good knowledge of customer accounts and newly launched products and services. Qualifications: Preference for relevant prior experience. Proven experience in sales and customer service. Experience in cash handling. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
