Position Objective** Ensure operational continuity of critical equipment (servers, medical devices, data centers) through installation, configuration, and preventive/corrective maintenance of UPS systems. The specialist must guarantee 100% power backup availability at all times, efficiently managing battery banks and power systems. **2\. Key Responsibilities** * **Battery Bank Maintenance:** Conduct impedance testing, internal voltage measurement, and scheduled cell replacement to prevent backup failures. * **Power Electronics Diagnostics:** Inspect and repair inverters, rectifiers, and static/manual bypass components in UPS units. * **Monitoring and Configuration:** Program network cards (SNMP) for remote monitoring and electrical event alarm management. * **Power Quality Analysis:** Use power analyzers to detect harmonics, transients, or voltage fluctuations affecting UPS performance. * **Commissioning:** Perform startup tests, load transfer tests, and controlled autonomy (discharge) tests. **3\. Education and Experience Requirements** * **Education:** Diploma in Electronics, Industrial Electricity, or a candidate pursuing a degree in Electronics/Power Engineering. * **Experience:** Minimum 3–4 years of technical support experience with medium- and large-capacity UPS systems (from 10 kVA up to modular three-phase systems). **4\. Required Certifications (Mandatory)** The candidate must demonstrate technical proficiency via **three certificates or official attestations** from leading manufacturers or critical power specialists: * **Manufacturer Certification for Power Equipment (e.g., APC by Schneider Electric, Vertiv/Liebert, or Eaton):** Technical attestation validating advanced knowledge of architecture, configuration, and repair of one of these dominant commercial brands. * **Certification in VRLA/Lithium Battery Handling and Diagnostics:** Certificate issued by a specialized supplier (e.g., Yuasa, CSB, or Alber), certifying capability to perform discharge testing and chemical waste management. * **Electrical Safety and DC (Direct Current) Hazard Certification:** Certification validating knowledge of specific hazards associated with high-voltage battery banks and industrial electrical safety protocols. **5\.
