Job Summary The **Warehouse Assistant** is responsible for performing operational activities related to the receipt, placement, storage, order picking, and dispatch of goods, ensuring compliance with established procedures regarding safety, inventory control, and logistical efficiency. This position requires operational discipline, attention to detail, physical capability, and commitment to internal safety and hygiene standards. Main Responsibilities * Goods Receipt: Verify quantity, condition, and documentation of received products. * Placement and Storage: Place products in assigned zones following rotation and safety criteria. * Order Picking: Accurately prepare and deliver requested goods on time. * Inventory Control: Assist with physical counts, internal audits, and system records. * Loading and Unloading: Safely handle goods using appropriate equipment. * Product Labeling and Signage. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the warehouse area. Key Responsibilities * Comply with safety regulations and use PPE. * Accurately document receipts, shipments, and transfers. * Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and transportation departments. * Prevent damage or loss of goods. * Adhere to working hours and internal policies. * Participate in drills and training sessions. Requirements * Education: Completed secondary school (high school diploma preferred). * Experience: 6 months to 1 year in warehouse or logistics (preferred). * Knowledge: Inventory control, basic computer skills. * Skills: Attention to detail, discipline, teamwork, organization. * Physical Requirements: Willingness to perform loading, unloading, and movement within the warehouse.
