Flute Teacher – Music School Location: Mexico City – Roma neighborhood Employment Type: Hourly Work Mode: In-person Job Description A music school focused on artistic training seeks a Flute Teacher passionate about music education and experienced in teaching students of diverse ages. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering technical and theoretical lessons, fostering students’ musical and artistic development. Responsibilities Teach transverse flute lessons to beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. Design customized study plans and practice exercises according to each student’s level. Teach technique, music reading, interpretation, and repertoire. Prepare students for recitals, performances, or musical assessments. Monitor student progress and provide feedback. Maintain a motivating and creative learning environment. Requirements Music studies, instrumentalist training, or music education degree (preferred). Minimum 1 year of experience teaching flute. Proficiency in transverse flute and music reading. Pedagogical skills for working with children and youth. Punctuality, responsibility, and strong communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in orchestras, ensembles, or musical performances. Knowledge of music theory and solfège.
