Location: Mexico City, San Pedro de Los Pinos Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Mode: On-site Salary: $10,000 MXN net per month Gender: Not specified At DELTION, we are looking for a Junior Structural Engineering Assistant responsible for supporting the development of structural projects, collaborating in analysis, design, and technical documentation in accordance with applicable guidelines and regulations. **Main Responsibilities** Structural Analysis and Design * Assist the team in designing and calculating concrete, masonry, and steel elements. * Perform preliminary calculations complying with applicable building codes. * Conduct basic structural analyses and reviews using engineering software to assess structural strength and stability. * Contribute to structural load calculations and distribution, including gravitational, seismic, and wind loads as required. * Archive and organize technical documentation related to structural projects. * Prepare technical opinions for housing prototypes. Requirements * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; recent graduates preferred (professional license desirable or in process). * Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in structural engineering, design, or project development activities (academic experience or professional internships considered). * Knowledge of fundamental structural design principles, load analysis, and mechanics of materials. * Familiarity with applicable regulations: Mexico City Technical Standards (NTC), ACI, AISC, and CFE Manuals (wind and seismic). * Intermediate proficiency in Excel. * Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive.
