You will work on implementing new features, optimizing existing systems, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your main responsibilities will be: **Responsibilities:** * Backend Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code using modern frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony. * Design and Implementation of APIs: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for communication between the backend and frontend or mobile applications. * Database Management: Work with relational and non-relational databases, including designing schemas, writing efficient queries, and optimizing performance. * Infrastructure Management and Configuration: Provision and maintain cloud resources. * Collaboration in the Development Cycle: Actively participate in project planning, design, and implementation following agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). * Optimization and Maintenance: Identify and resolve performance issues, and contribute to the maintenance and evolution of existing systems. * Version Control: Use Git for code management and effective collaboration with the development team. * Maintenance of internal work board (RAD) **What are we looking for in you?** * Education: Bachelor's or Engineering degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. * Experience: 2 to 4 years in similar roles. * Language: Minimum B2 level in English (preferred). * Knowledge: * Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns in PHP. * Advanced knowledge of SQL for creating and optimizing queries. * Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs. * Understanding of software architecture and the agile development lifecycle (Scrum/Kanban). * Skills: * Assertive Communication * Adaptability * Curiosity and Continuous Learning * Conflict Resolution * Time Management **What we offer** * Contract type: Permanent contract * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM * Work mode: Hybrid / Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz (FERROCARRIL DEL ISTMO DE TEHUANTEPEC) * Salary: $22,000 \- $25,000 * Additional benefits: Statutory benefits, opportunities for growth and professional development, productivity bonuses.
