DESCRIPTION ### **MEDICAL EMERGENCY TECHNICIAN** At EOSOL, we are seeking a competent Medical Emergency Technician who can ensure the proper functioning of medical services. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Respond to medical emergencies, workplace accidents, and sudden illnesses by applying first aid, resuscitation, and safe patient transport protocols. * Assess and stabilize patients at the incident site according to competence level and Ministry of Health regulations. * Collaborate with the occupational health and safety team in implementing emergency response and rescue plans. * Maintain and monitor medical equipment inventory and conditions, including first aid kits, stretchers, AEDs, oxygen supplies, and ambulance (if applicable). * Record and report medical interventions using established forms or systems, ensuring clinical information traceability. * Support health promotion activities, preventive campaigns, and first aid training sessions. * Participate in emergency drills and internal training on accident response. * Coordinate with external healthcare services (Samu, clinics, mutual aid organizations) for referrals or transfers when necessary. * Comply with biosafety, confidentiality, and healthcare quality standards. ### **Job Requirements** * **Education:** Higher Technical Degree in Nursing with specialization in Medical Emergencies, Emergency Paramedic Technician, or equivalent recognized program. * **Required Certifications:** * **Current CPR and first aid certification.** * **Certification in pre-hospital care or trauma management (PHTLS or similar)** (desirable). * **Class B or A2 driver's license** (desirable, depending on duties). * **Experience:** At least **2 years in emergency services, industrial rescue, or remote site operations** (mining, energy, construction, or related fields). * **Knowledge:** * Medical emergency and trauma protocols. * Basic operation of medical equipment. * Occupational health and workplace safety regulations. * **Availability:** To work **rotating shifts** and in remote areas or camps, as required by project. ### **Key Competencies** * Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure. * Empathy and service orientation. * Multidisciplinary teamwork. * Responsibility, organization, and confidentiality management. * Commitment to worker safety and health.
