Industrial Safety Coordinator

**Join our team as a Safety, Health and Environment Coordinator!** At **Coilplus Mexicana**, we are looking for committed and passionate individuals about industrial safety, occupational health, and environmental care who want to play a key role in the continuous improvement of our operations. **Objective** Ensure compliance with internal regulations on safety, health, and environment, as well as current legal requirements, by implementing, maintaining, and improving programs, processes, and systems focused on risk prevention, safety culture, and sustainability. **Responsibilities** * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and keep SSMA procedures updated. * Coordinate housekeeping, cleanliness, safety, and health programs at the plant. * Implement and supervise lockout/tagout (LOTO) systems and manage safety observations. * Report incidents and accidents to corporate and coordinate root-cause investigations. * Follow up on the annual safety plan and conduct internal audits according to corporate checklists. * Coordinate the Safety Committee, emergency brigades, meetings, and awareness campaigns. * Manage incident statistics and coordinate preventive actions. * Supervise environmental compliance (hazardous waste, COA) and collaborate with Human Resources on legal and training matters. * Lead 5S initiatives. * Supervise property security personnel. **Key Competencies** Leadership \| Planning and organization \| Regulatory knowledge \| Risk management \| Effective communication \| Teamwork \| Professional ethics \| Continuous improvement **Requirements** * Degree in Industrial, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in Safety, Health and Environment within an industrial setting. * Knowledge and application of STPS, SEMARNAT regulations and other legal requirements. * Certifications in Industrial Safety (DC3, CPR, emergency brigades, etc.). * Experience implementing LOTO, 5S, waste management, and management systems. * Intermediate English proficiency. * SAP knowledge (desirable). * Must reside in Saltillo, Ramos Arizpe, or Arteaga.
