We are looking for a professional with at least 5 years of experience to join our team and support the Salesforce implementation we maintain in Mexico. This role requires working locally, directly from our client’s offices in Mexico City, on-site. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be a key contributor to the execution and success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include, among others, the following tasks: * **Programming languages:** You must have full mastery of Apex, Salesforce’s native object-oriented programming language. This will enable you to develop complex business logic and customized solutions within the platform. * **Front-end development:** Solid experience using Visualforce to build custom web pages is expected. Additionally, proven, recent experience with Aura Components and Lightning Web Components (LWC) is essential for developing modern, dynamic, and intuitive user interfaces. * **Integrations:** You must possess in-depth knowledge of the APIs available in Salesforce—including REST and SOAP—to facilitate seamless connectivity and data exchange between Salesforce and other external systems, ensuring data flow and consistency. * **Development tools:** Familiarity with and efficient use of modern development tools such as Visual Studio Code—particularly with the Salesforce DX extension—is highly valued, as it supports agile development and application lifecycle management. Proficiency with version control systems like Git is also critical for collaboration and code tracking. * **Development concepts:** You must understand and apply Salesforce platform development best practices to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance of implemented solutions. * **Certifications:** Holding the Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is a mandatory requirement and a key indicator of your knowledge and proficiency on the platform.
