Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional in international imports and operational supervision, with advanced English proficiency and a focus on premium clients in the luxury sector. Focus on serving premium clients in the luxury and high-fashion sectors *We seek a candidate with* ***extensive experience in international imports and operational supervision****, accustomed to* ***working in dynamic and high-pressure environments****, possessing* ***excellent English proficiency*** *and a focus on* ***serving premium clients*** *in the* ***luxury and high-fashion sectors.*** ***Position Objective*** To comprehensively supervise and coordinate import operations for international luxury and high-fashion clients, ensuring customs, operational, and documentary compliance under premium service standards, while guaranteeing visibility, control, and efficient execution of maritime, air, and land-based operations. ***Key Responsibilities*** * Supervise maritime, air, and land-based import operations. * Coordinate international shipments for textile and apparel brands, as well as furniture shipments and store openings. * Manage between 300 and 500 operations monthly. * Lead operational teams of 15 to 18 people. * Monitor urgent shipments and critical operations promptly. * Validate import documentation: * Commercial invoices * Packing lists * Bill of Lading (BL) / Air Waybill (AWB) * Certificates of origin * Permits and regulations applicable to the textile, footwear, aluminum, steel, wood-based, and natural fiber products sectors. * ATA Carnets * Supervise proper customs clearance and regulatory compliance. * Coordinate communication with international clients, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, carriers, and customs authorities. * Ensure achievement of operational KPIs and service-level targets. * Manage operational incidents and escalations from premium clients. * Implement operational improvements and internal controls. * Track transit times, arrivals, customs releases, and deliveries. **Requirements** ***Education*** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, or a related field. ***Experience*** * Minimum of 5 years in import operations within a customs brokerage firm. * Mandatory experience supervising operational teams. * Experience in maritime, air, and land-based operations. * Preferred experience with retail, fashion, or luxury clients. ***Technical Knowledge*** * Customs Law and foreign trade regulations. * Import processes. * Maritime, air, and land-based operations. * Handling of ATA Carnets. * INCOTERMS. * Coordination with warehouses and fiscalized facilities. * Proficiency in customs systems and ERP platforms. * Operational KPIs and service metrics.
