If you hold a Technical Degree in Machining or related field and are seeking an opportunity for growth, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you, based at our location in **Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico.** You will manufacture required parts using appropriate machine tool operation. Your duties and responsibilities will be carried out under the direction of the Tool Room Supervisor. **AS A MACHINIST, YOU WILL:** * Operate all machine tools and equipment to manufacture mechanical parts. * Accurately interpret mechanical drawings. * Handle precision measuring equipment. * Provide reports to the supervisor. * Collaborate with teams to address improvement opportunities. * Comply with internal work regulations and safety rules. * Close maintenance work orders and provide service as needed. * Maintain a clean and orderly workplace at all times. * Complete standard work forms when performing non\-standard activities. * Submit daily activity reports. **WHO YOU ARE:** You act with a clear sense of ownership. You collaborate comfortably with people across all levels, functions, cultures, and geographies. You possess a service\-oriented, customer\-focused attitude, advising and coordinating diverse resources to make optimal decisions for the company. **EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:** * Technical degree in Machining or related field, plus a minimum of 3 years of experience—preferably including leadership experience—or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Basic knowledge of computer software packages. * Knowledge of various metallurgical steels. * Knowledge of the operation and functioning of surface and cylindrical grinders. * Knowledge of the operation and functioning of horizontal and vertical milling machines. * Accurate interpretation of mechanical drawings. * Knowledge of metrology. * Knowledge of the operation and functioning of grinders, lathes, and milling machines. * Proficiency in handling workshop tools and precision measuring instruments. * Ability to operate cranes of 5 tons or more. **Our Commitment to Our People** Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
