Operations and Supervision * Supervise the butcher shop's daily operations. * Coordinate staff: * Butchers * Cashiers * Assistants * Delivery personnel * Verify opening and closing of the area. * Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the establishment. Inventory Control * Monitor goods inflow and outflow. * Review shrinkage, expiration dates, and waste. * Supervise proper product rotation (FIFO). * Conduct daily, weekly, or monthly inventories. * Monitor refrigeration and freezing chambers. Purchasing and Suppliers * Place orders for meat and related products. * Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers. * Inspect quality and weight of received goods. * Seek optimal costs and profit margins. Sales and Customer Service * Supervise service and customer interaction. * Resolve complaints or issues. * Implement promotions and sales strategies. * Verify proper product display. * Ensure availability of high-demand items. Financial Control * Review daily sales. * Monitor operational expenses. * Supervise cash register closings. * Analyze product-level profitability and margins. * Achieve sales targets. Hygiene and Quality * Verify compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards. * Supervise proper food handling practices. * Ensure appropriate use of uniforms and safety equipment. * Check refrigerator and product temperatures.
