




Job Summary: The Project Engineer supervises the technical field execution of investment projects, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and established KPIs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Field execution supervision and contractor management 2. Ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and quality control in projects 3. Problem-solving ability and assertive communication **POSITION PURPOSE:** The Project Engineer serves as the on-site technical supervisor and data facilitator for the Engineering Coordinator and CAPEX team; ensuring correct technical execution of investment projects in the field by supervising contractors to guarantee that construction and installations are carried out according to engineering specifications, within the agreed timeline, and under performance KPIs established by the coordination. **Field Execution Supervision** * **Contractor Management:** Daily supervision of on-site work (civil works, mechanical installation, electrical installations), ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications * **Safety and Environment:** Ensuring all project activities comply with safety regulations (LOTO, hot work, working at heights) and Moctezuma’s environmental policies * **Quality Control:** Conducting material testing and on-site technical validations prior to proceeding to subsequent project phases * **On-Site Surveys:** Performing required measurements and technical surveys for development of new projects or expansions * **Commissioning and Testing:** Executing performance tests of new equipment to ensure compliance with requested nominal capacity Engineering KPIs * **Physical Progress Tracking:** Weekly reporting of actual vs. scheduled progress percentage * **Deviation Control:** Early detection of technical or schedule deviations and immediate proposal of corrective action plans to realign with the critical path * **Project Closure:** Documenting technical files ("As\-Built"), operation manuals, and warranties for final handover to the maintenance team **Requirements:** * *Education:* Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering degree. * *Experience:* 3 years of experience in construction supervision, industrial installation, or field project management. **Knowledge:** * Advanced ability to prepare and read engineering drawings (AutoCAD). * Proficiency in MS Project or other construction scheduling tools. * Knowledge of construction and industrial safety regulations. * Budget management. * Construction cost estimation. **Skills:** * **Problem Solving:** Ability to swiftly and logically resolve unexpected technical conflicts in the field * **Assertive Communication:** Ability to negotiate and provide clear instructions to contractors and operational staff * **Attention to Detail:** Rigorous review of finishes, connections, and technical configurations * **Mobility:** High availability to travel to various plants and national operational zones **Benefits:** * Competitive salary * Savings fund * Life insurance * Grocery vouchers * Meal vouchers or cafeteria service * Major medical expense insurance *If you are interested and meet the requirements, apply—we would love to meet you* Salary: $24,000\.00 \- $25,500\.00 per month Benefits: * Major medical expense insurance * Vision insurance * Life insurance * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
