The primary role of a Cashier at Grupo Bafar involves the efficient and accurate management of all financial transactions conducted at the point of sale. This includes, but is not limited to, charging for merchandise, issuing invoices and receipts, handling cash, credit and debit cards, and balancing the register at the end of each workday. The cashier is the final direct contact line with our customers, so their professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency are crucial to ensuring a positive customer experience. In addition to transactional responsibilities, the cashier is expected to keep the checkout area clean and organized, ensure sufficient change is available, and that necessary supplies (bags, cash register rolls, etc.) are always in stock.
