**A technology services company** is seeking a **Printing Support Technician** to provide on-site support to a high-level institutional client.
**Work Location**
**Chairel 101, Campbell, 89260 Tampico, Tamps.**
**Schedule**
* **Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00 hrs**
* Extended availability as required by **Service Level Agreements (SLAs)**

**Job Objective**
Ensure the continuous, stable, and efficient operation of printing, copying, and scanning services through the installation, configuration, diagnosis, repair, and specialized technical support of multifunctional devices, guaranteeing compliance with SLAs and proper end-user support.
**Main Responsibilities**
**On-site Technical Support**
* Installation, configuration, and commissioning of monochrome and color multifunctional devices.
* Diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electronic, and functional failures.
* Preventive and corrective maintenance on low-, medium-, and high-volume devices.
* Replacement of components (fusers, maintenance kits, rollers, boards, paper trays, etc.).
* Relocation and reconfiguration of devices according to operational requirements.
* Temporary device replacement when required by SLA.
**Supplies Management**
* Toner and supplies replacement in accordance with SLA.
* Validation of device functionality after replacement.
* Basic inventory control of supplies and spare parts.
**End-User Support**
* Direct, professional interaction with end users.
* Ticket logging, tracking, and closure.
* Clear communication regarding status and estimated resolution times.
* Basic user training on proper device usage.
**Control and Reporting**
* Adherence to established response time targets.
* Preparation of logs and technical reports.
* Identification of recurring failures and devices eligible for replacement.
**Monitoring**
* Use of print monitoring tools for counter readings, alerts, and remote diagnostics.
**Requirements**
**Education**
* Technician or professional degree in Systems, Computer Science, Electronics, Communications, or related field.
**Experience**
* Minimum **1 year** of experience in:
* Technical support for printers and multifunctional devices.
* On-site support (field service, resident technician, or implementation).
* Preferred experience in institutional or corporate environments.
**Technical Knowledge**
* Monochrome and color laser printing.
* Diagnosis and repair of multifunctional devices.
* Basic network configuration (Ethernet / TCP\-IP).
* Interpretation of error codes.
* Document scanning and digitization.
**Competencies**
* Service orientation.
* Operational discipline and adherence to processes.
