We are seeking a proactive **Event Coordinator**, with initiative, negotiation skills, and an established network of contacts within the cultural, film, and event industries in Mexico City (CDMX). This person will be responsible for bringing film festivals and/or other events from concept to reality: from securing venues to closing sponsorships, managing partnerships, coordinating logistics, and ensuring professional-quality execution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage end-to-end operational production of the festival and/or other events * Prospect, negotiate, and secure venues * Secure sponsorships, commercial exchanges, and partnerships with brands, cultural institutions, media outlets, film schools, and embassies * Coordinate event logistics: screenings, guests, press, catering, venue design, and audience experience * Manage vendors, budget, and schedule * Communicate with selected filmmakers to coordinate materials and participation * Support dissemination strategy and public relations for the festival and/or other events * Report progress directly to Cinemotion Group’s leadership * Represent Cinemotion Group in external meetings, presentations, and negotiations REQUIRED PROFILE **Experience:** * Minimum 2 years coordinating or producing cultural events, festivals, film showcases, or corporate events * Demonstrable experience managing sponsorships or commercial exchanges * Familiarity with the cultural and film ecosystem in Mexico City (preferred) **Skills:** * Strong negotiation and closing ability * Full autonomy — capable of acting independently, proposing solutions, and executing without constant supervision * Excellent oral and written communication * Organizational skills, time management, and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks * Resourcefulness in delivering results under limited budget constraints * Established network of contacts in the cultural industry, media, or events sector (preferred) **Attitude:** * Proactive, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset * Passionate about cinema and culture * Committed to purpose-driven projects CONDITIONS * **Work mode:** On-site with mobility across Mexico City (CDMX) * **Base location:** Churubusco Studios, Coyoacán, CDMX * **Contract type:** Project-based (duration: June — January 2027, with potential for extension) * **Schedule:** Full-time — flexible according to event needs * **Availability:** Immediate COMPENSATION OFFERING * Performance-based bonus (e.g., secured sponsorships, successful event execution) * Opportunity for career growth within Cinemotion Group for future editions of the festival and/or other events.
