




**What you’ll do:** ------------------- **Job Summary** "The primary function for this role is to provide support and leadership on Quality, Product Integrity and Continuous Improvement processes and systems aimed to achieve high customer satisfaction." **Job Responsibilities** * Responsible for quality control, quality assurance, and supplier quality for the fabrication Value Stream. * Lead systematic root\-cause analysis of customer complaints with Value Stream team, as well as corrective action implementation within 60 days. * Facilitate the return of defective products for analysis and work with the production team to implement corrective actions. * Lead Value Stream towards the preparation of customer audits, as well as collecting all information that is required as evidence of customer requirements’ compliance. * Responsible for Control of Non\-Conforming Policy execution, for raw material, WIP, and finished goods. * Request corrective action to suppliers for defective raw material. Work with suppliers for rejected material disposition. * Follow\-up on steel rejected material from assembly lines. * Responsible for driving continuous improvement of internal quality metrics such as PPMs, scrap, and rework. * Leads Basic Problem Solving at tier 1 level, providing coaching and guidance to Production Leaders for Basic Problem Solving. Establishes control methods, measures line capability, and performs Gage R\&R for measuring methods. * Owns the Quality Control Plan and Special Characteristics Control Plan, ensuring it is maintained updated with the appropriate controls to mitigate/prevent failure modes from PFMEA tool. * Responsible for updating control plan and manufacturing documentation as part of the systemic corrective action for quality issues. * Responsible for leading Gemba walks in the production floor and ensuring coherence between Control Plan and all manufacturing documentation, such as work instructions, visual aids, and record keeping documents. * Ensures policies are correctly deployed within the Value Stream of the Eaton Quality Management System. * Supports and proposes cost out initiatives impacting the overall business." **Qualifications:** ------------------- * Engineering degree. * 2 years of experience as a Customer Quality Engineer * 80% of English (spoken and written). * Experience as internal auditor. * Lean Manufacturing * VISA \#LI\-MV1 **Skills:** ----------- "• Knowledge in the interpretation of ISO 9000:2015, * Strong skills for solving problems (8D, Pareto, 5 Why’s, etc.) * Knowledge and experience with manufacturing processes desired (SMT, soldering, molding, stamping, assembly, etc.). * Core tools. * Soldering process (desired). * Strong computer applications skills (specially datasheets and databases); experience on analytical software tools (ie. Minitab) is a plus."
