Position Summary: The tool crib support technician assists production by managing materials, spare parts, and accessories; maintaining inventory; and ensuring timely supply. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support for production departments 2. Inventory control and maintenance 3. Under direct supervision of the Maintenance/Manufacturing Manager, the tool crib support technician provides assistance to production departments by delivering requested materials, spare parts, and/or accessories. Maintains optimal reserve levels of spare parts, materials, and/or accessories; timely creates purchase requisitions for replenishment; and conducts detailed follow-up on material delivery timelines in coordination with the procurement department. Performs cyclic counts, inventories, material receipts and issues, and maintains strict control over commonly used tools under their responsibility. * Inventory control based on maximum and minimum thresholds. * Prepare material and item requisitions when stock falls below the minimum level. * Maintain inventory accuracy and organization within the tool crib area. * Prepare and submit consumption reports upon request from Engineers and Managers. * Perform maintenance on materials and items stored in the tool crib area. * Deliver tools or equipment to production lines. * Clean and manage existing tools in the warehouse. * Replace tool components. * Conduct cyclic counts. * Record incoming materials into the tool crib warehouse system. * Provide service to personnel requesting tools or items.
