Tooling Technician

Job Summary: Responsible for managing, designing, modifying, and updating tooling drawings and documentation to ensure system efficiency and provide support for new designs. Key Highlights: 1. Design and modification of tooling to improve efficiency and performance. 2. Maintenance and updating of the tooling drawing database. 3. Support in the design of new tools and review of specifications. **Responsibilities:** ---------------- * Manages all tool room drawings and maintains accurate, up-to-date records of all tooling-related documentation to ensure an efficient tooling information management system. Designs and modifies tooling. * Maintains a database of drawings for each tool in the tool room; responsible for updating drawings whenever a tool undergoes changes or modifications. Participates in tooling design projects aimed at improving efficiency and/or performance. Works in accordance with company policies and standards. * Updates and maintains all tooling drawings according to the company's system. * Dimensions and creates drawings for new parts without fixed deadlines. * Provides support in the design of new tools. * Reviews tolerances and specifications on drawings with the Quality, Engineering, and Production departments. * Prepares reports and documentation required by the tool room coordinator. * Actively participates in meeting requirements for maintaining ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, and OHSAS certifications. **Requirements:** --------------- * Technical degree (electromechanical/mechanical). * Experience in metalworking. * Proficiency in SolidWorks, measuring equipment (optical comparator, micrometer, height gauge), geometric tolerancing, and drawing interpretation. * AutoCAD, MS Office
