




Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining operational processes and inventory. Key Highlights: 1. Comprehensive management of operations and inventory Oversee general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for the team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, foster an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer guidance and utilize all tools—including the electronic catalog and AutoZone-provided testing and diagnostic equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying areas requiring improvement and training. * Supervise daily compliance by all employees with scheduled work hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among employees and with customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of cost-consciousness across all controllable expenditures within the team. * Assign and monitor area responsibilities—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restroom and cafeteria maintenance, sales floor and parking lot upkeep—as well as daily cash count verification for the main register, cash sweeps, and register closings for direct reports, following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store test stations, thereby preventing workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work various shifts AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
