Forklift Driver

Description

Job Summary: Responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and recording products and materials; operating forklifts safely; and collaborating on inventory management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Safe and efficient forklift operation 2. Efficient product organization and storage 3. Collaboration in inventory management Receive products and materials arriving at the warehouse. Report any safety incidents or issues to the supervisor. Comply with all safety standards for handling products and forklift equipment. Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload products. Perform basic maintenance on forklifts. Report forklift anomalies. Maintain detailed records of received products, including quantity, receipt date, and supplier. Generate material receipt reports and document any irregularities or damage to products. Verify shipment compliance with purchase orders and related documentation. Label, categorize, and mark storage locations to facilitate product retrieval. Organize and store products efficiently and safely within the warehouse. Collaborate with the procurement and supply team to resolve shipment discrepancies. Communicate restocking needs to procurement staff. * Organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team. * Basic knowledge of inventory management software. * Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions. * Capacity to lift and carry heavy objects. * Knowledge of safety standards for material and equipment handling.
