We operate at the center of an ecosystem working toward the precision digitization of health, helping to drive productivity and improve outcomes for patients, providers, health systems, and researchers around the world.**Job Description** =================== **Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions include:** * + Overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling with a target of minimum 2-week inventory levels + Oracle expert + Ensure systemic inventory accuracy + Reschedule materials for pull\-ins (accelerations) and push\-outs (for inventory control) + Daily investigation and resolution of root cause for shortages + Close collaboration with suppliers focusing on: packaging requirements, min/max planning, PCN as they relate to legacy/existing parts, material replenishment planning, root cause troubleshooting + Perform daily floor and receiving dock walks to investigate and resolve material issues + Support material transfers, supplier reviews with sourcing + Field modification instruction, as applicable: material ordering, program formulation + Supplier visits as needed, internal and external + Manage new product introduction/phase out (NPI) to minimize obsolete material + Provide supply analysis data and recommendations as needed + Assist in cycle count efforts as determined + Support development of tools for predicting material issues + Support all lean action activities, initiatives, and trainings **Required Qualifications:** 1\. Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in materials or production scheduling 2\. Computer skills 3\. Bilingual English/Spanish **Desired Qualifications:** 1\. APICS certification 2\. Knowledge and experience with Oracle 3\. Six Sigma Green Belt 4\. Practical knowledge of MRP 5\. Excellent interpersonal skills 6\.
