Minimum Requirements * Minimum 5 years of experience as a Direct Buyer, Buyer, or similar position, preferably in the wiring harness industry. * Advanced English * Knowledge of BPCS system * Experience in procurement Experience and/or knowledge * Knowledge of BPCS system * Experience in procurement · General knowledge of manufacturing processes. · Knowledge of Supplier Quality Assurance. · Supplier contract management · Reading of blueprints · ERP and MRP systems · Advanced Microsoft – Advanced Excel · Financial knowledge: Profit and loss statements, cost structures, and quotations · Advanced supplier and commodity management · Project Administration (Desirable) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, ACTIVITIES, AND AUTHORITY · Carry out quotations for projects. · Enter into the QLM system the information to be quoted as required by Quotation Engineers. · Perform corresponding quotations according to the estimated annual usage · Purchase samples or first production run items. · Enter into the QLM system the information to be quoted as required by the NPI Procurement Leaders from each plant. · Generate open Purchase Orders for regular production, business transfers/inter-plant transfers, and components with variable usage. · Among others.
