At Swissport, we are guided by our core values of Care, Do the Right Thing, and Win as a Team, and we are currently seeking dedicated individuals who align with these values to join our team in various locations around the world. **Job Summary** Assist and support all passengers by providing service during check-in, boarding, and disembarkation. **Your Responsibilities:** Attendance and appearance* Report punctually for your assigned duties * Request assignments from the supervisor * Coordinate and assist in transferring equipment and paperwork Review of flight-related documentation and information* Verify boarding gate assignments, first-class vouchers, and other additional information provided by the supervisor or airline representative. * Pay close attention to the pre-flight briefing. Counter opening* Arrive at counters according to the time required by the client before aircraft arrival. * Ensure counters are clean and ready to begin check-in. * Make sure you have the necessary paperwork to start check-in. * When applicable, place announcements and/or information required by the airline and aviation authority at the counter. Check-in* Review passenger documentation according to airline policies. * Assign seats using automated systems or manually. * Weigh baggage and, if excess is detected, apply the appropriate fee collection procedure according to airline policy. * Issue boarding passes and baggage tags. * Complete the entire check-in process efficiently. Ticketing* Collect payments for tickets, excess baggage, and other applicable fees according to the airline. * Safeguard revenue generated from ticket sales and other applicable charges related to the airline. Disembarkation* Verify that information regarding the disembarkation belt and passengers with special needs is available before moving to the final waiting area. * Coordinate delivery of wheelchairs, strollers, and other passenger-owned equipment traveling in the bulk compartment. * Announce completion of disembarkation via radio. Boarding* Confirm availability of required paperwork and equipment from the client and airline to conduct boarding. * Begin boarding at the time specified by the client, making applicable announcements. * Apply relevant security procedures. * Keep stakeholders informed about closure progress and other relevant information. Flight closing* Close the flight within the timeframe established by the client. * Inform staff in lounges about any last-minute passengers. * Apply security procedures for passengers who do not board. * Generate applicable reports and paperwork to be delivered to the supervisor or airline representative.
