A Sales Coordinator analyzes local market trends and competitor activity to generate future business opportunities for the hotel. What will I do? As a sales executive, you will analyze local market trends and competitor activity to generate future business opportunities for the hotel. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: * Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities. * Develop local client accounts and travel business to drive revenue at the specific hotel or cluster and increase market share/customer share across all revenue sources. * Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients. * Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media platforms. * Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current commercial and pricing terms. * Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities. * Collaborate with other hotel departments to create an exceptional guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs. * Attend sales events as required. * Produce accurate and timely reports meeting the needs of the Sales Director and senior management, including appointment reports, calls made, and business opportunities. * Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
