A Sales Administrative Assistant analyzes local market trends and competitor activity to generate future new business for the hotel. What will I do? As a Sales Administrative Assistant, you will analyze local market trends and competitor activity to generate future new business for the hotel. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: * Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities. * Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business at the specific hotel/cluster and increase market/customer share across all revenue sources. * Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients. * Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media channels. * Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current commercial and pricing terms. * Work within current commercial strategies and recognize potential opportunities. * Collaborate with other hotel departments to create an exceptional guest experience and develop strong, comprehensive sales programs. * Attend sales events as required. * Produce accurate and timely reports to meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management, including appointment reports, calls made, and business opportunities. * Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
