You will be responsible for building an internal audit system that detects and tracks data errors, streamlines and coordinates risk assessment, establishes criteria for initiating audits, and analyzes data to reach reasonable conclusions. The ideal candidate for this position must have education in accounting and auditing. *RESPONSIBILITIES* * Test operations and modify the design of existing financial controls. * Maintain and cultivate a master inventory of our policies, practices, and business processes. * Improve customer service by initiating enhancements to financial control and the audit process. * Conduct necessary investigations and tests to identify and resolve vulnerabilities. * Develop new audit programs to ensure appropriate financial controls. * Plan internal meetings with clients and oversee disclosure of financial information. * Provide recommendations to financial management regarding software, policies, and audit triggers. * Create and update the internal audit plan.
