Personnel coordination and continuous improvement Position: Production Supervisor for Extrusion Process Education: Technical or engineering degree in a related field. JOB OBJECTIVE Supervise, coordinate, and ensure proper execution of production operations during the shift, guaranteeing timely, accurate, high-quality, and efficient fulfillment of production orders. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1\. Production planning and preparation \- Review and execute the Production Order. \- Verify raw material inventory. \- Calculate, request, and receive raw materials. \- Prepare material, pigment, and additive mixtures. 2\. Supervision of the production process \- Supervise quality, timing, texture, color, and output. \- Control defects, losses, and downtime. \- Coordinate operational personnel. \- Monitor weight (kg), timing, and productivity. 3\. Recordkeeping and reporting \- Record time and weight per meter (twice per shift). \- Daily production report per machine. \- Control of mixtures and materials. \- Report anomalies to the Production Manager. 4\. Operational supervision \- Coordinate production orders. \- Supervise cutting and prevent waste. \- Coordinate process flow. 5\. Order, cleanliness, and safety \- Maintain personnel order and discipline. \- Supervise use of PPE. \- Maintain cleanliness in work areas. 6\. Quality \- Supervise quality of extruded product. \- Verify dimensions, color, and density. \- Supervise finished product. 7\. Production \- Cut material according to Production Order. \- Assist with startups and changeovers. 8\. Continuous improvement \- Propose process improvements.
